It started with a moment of stillness, a backyard, a patch of moss, and a heart ready to root again. What began as a personal ritual of tending to plants and crafting small joys by hand slowly bloomed into something bigger: a way to share stories through living things and lovely little objects.

This project isn’t just about decorative plant creations; it’s about connection. Every nook, every charm, every black cat or crescent moon detail is chosen with intention. Some pieces come with a story, some are waiting for yours. You’ll find magic hiding in the mundane here, like a tiny world in a terrarium or flowers blooming in unexpected corners.

The “moss” is my grounding, the nature, the stillness, the softness. The “moxie” is the spark, the boldness, the COURAGE, the curiosity, the patience, and the refusal to do things the “normal” way. Both live here together.

A bit about me?

I’m a lifelong educator turned creative explorer, living in central Texas where the afternoon light always seems to know how to find the garden at just the right angle. I spend my days with my plants, caring for our pets, and wandering, both near and far, with my husband, collecting small treasures and ideas along the way. I’m neurodivergent, cochlear-implanted, always learning, and deeply in love with the quiet language of intuition and green things. These days, I’m less about perfection and more about presence, growing alongside the people I love, unmasking old patterns, and blooming into something entirely my own.

Moss and Moxie is my offering….a little green, a little grit, and a lot of love.
